Why Store Chili Oil in Weck Jars?
Weck jars are a game-changer when it comes to storing homemade condiments like chili oil. Their airtight seal helps preserve freshness and flavor, while their sleek design makes them perfect for kitchen organization. Plus, they are made from high-quality glass, which is non-reactive and keeps your chili oil tasting just as it should.
Tips for Storing Chili Oil in Weck Jars
✔ Use a Clean, Dry Jar – Always sterilize your Weck jar before filling it to prevent contamination.
✔ Store in a Cool, Dark Place – Keep away from direct sunlight to maintain its vibrant color and rich flavor.
✔ Seal Properly – Ensure the rubber gasket and clips are secure for maximum freshness.
✔ Use Dry Utensils – Always use a clean, dry spoon when scooping out the oil to prevent moisture buildup.
Now, let’s get to the exciting part; the recipe!

3️⃣ Pour the hot oil – Carefully pour the reserved hot oil over the ingredients. This step enhances the aroma and flavor.
4️⃣ Mix & season – Add the fried shallots, salt, and chicken powder. Stir well and adjust seasoning to taste.
